The Women’s Centre for Change, Penang is a non-profit organisation dedicated to end violence against women and children, promoting gender equality and social justice ( It has two offices: one in Penang island and another in Seberang Perai  (Pusat Perkhidmatan Wanita). We are looking for persons who are self motivated, can multi-task, work independently and is a team player.

  1. Communications Officer

  • Manage, generate and update WCC website, facebook, and twitter accounts regularly
  • Produce communication and information materials (press release, news and feature writing) to promote WCC’s work
  • Write, edit and oversee to the production of WCC publications e.g. newsletter, annual reports, publications and brochures to promote WCC’s work and campaigns
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a communication and advocacy strategy for WCC


  • Degree in journalism, mass communication, social science or related field
  • At least three years of work related experience
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
